Q How
detailed are the plans?
They are conceptual plans. They encompass the entire part of the garden
to be worked on. They indicate the layout, the materials to be employed,
the structures to be incorporated, the plants to be introduced and
the positioning of lighting. The main objectives are to provide clear
representation of the way the garden will appear at many levels and
to provide enough skeletal information for contractors to price from.
Working details are kept to a minimum. Specific construction detailing
is provided only when standards vary or unusual features are intended.
