Plan
preparation
Fundamental
to the design of gardens is the preparation of plans to show concepts
overlaid onto scaled versions of the garden. Plans allow ideas to
be developed in a methodical and easily interpreted form.

Whilst a precise feel for concepts and themes arise on site, it
is not until the garden is seen to scale from bird's eye view that
the best possible solutions can be explored and canvassed.

When working to scale on plan, we can accurately guide the proper proportioning
of spaces. We are able to identify solutions not necessarily apparent on site.
Plans allow for a high level of refinement and accuracy. They also provide the
most appropriate medium for experimentation with different effects.
