Tendering

The next level of service offered is the recommendation of construction businesses who have capably implemented our plans in the past. Most are well known and come highly recommended. These include landscape contractors who, with their own teams and through the engagement of sub-contractors, demonstrate skills in site preparation, paving, wall construction, carpentry, irrigation and planting. Pool builders and lighting contractors are also recommended. At times, we seek the services of specialists such as metal, mosaic or paint artists.

Time is taken at our office to distribute plans and instruct each contractor on the scope of their work. Follow up attendance to queries and responses from contractors and clients form part of this process. Questions typically relate to subjects such as specific construction detailing techniques, quoted figures and how they compare to budget, potential for design modification or staging of works to arrive at desired outcomes, product availability and start up times.
